Questions about Irish tax refunds, Revenue claims, or the information on this site — this is how to reach us.

What we can help with

This site covers the tax reliefs available to PAYE workers and self-employed individuals in Ireland. If you have read a page here and have a question about your own situation — whether you qualify for a particular relief, how to file through MyAccount, or what documentation Revenue requires — we are happy to give a general answer by email.

D'Emilia Accounting also takes on professional engagements for individuals who want a qualified accountant to review their tax position, prepare submissions, or correspond with Revenue on their behalf. These typically involve:

  • Four-year PAYE reviews where the client wants a complete audit of missed reliefs
  • Cases involving multiple employers or mid-year job changes that complicated the PAYE calculation
  • Situations where Revenue has raised a query or issued a notice of assessment
  • Self-employed individuals (sole traders) who need to file a Form 11 for the first time
  • Clients with a mix of PAYE and rental income who need to file an income tax return

Response times

We respond to email enquiries within three working days. WhatsApp messages typically receive a faster response, but are not monitored outside business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm Irish time).

Professional enquiries about taking on D'Emilia Accounting as your tax agent — for PAYE reviews, Form 11 filings, or Revenue correspondence — are handled by appointment. Send an initial email describing your situation and we will reply with availability.

Corrections and factual queries

If you have found information on this site that appears to be out of date, factually incorrect, or misleading, please send the details to contact@demiliaaccounting.ie with the subject line: Correction — [page name].

Include the URL of the page, the specific passage that concerns you, and — if possible — a reference to the Revenue source or legislation that contradicts it. We review all correction submissions and aim to respond within five working days. Significant corrections are noted on the relevant page with a revision date.

Full details of our corrections process are available on the Corrections Policy page.

What we do not handle by email

We do not provide professional tax advice by email or WhatsApp without a formal engagement agreement in place. If you describe your specific tax situation and ask whether you owe money or what to file, we will point you to the relevant page on this site or suggest you book a formal consultation. We cannot provide a specific calculation or Revenue submission outside of a professional engagement.

We also do not handle queries about Revenue's internal systems, processing times, or the status of a refund you have already submitted. For those, Revenue's online services (MyAccount) and their telephone service at 01 738 3636 are the correct route.

Feedback on the site

We welcome feedback on the clarity of the guides on this site. If a particular explanation was confusing, if an example did not match your situation, or if there is a topic we have not covered that you expected to find here, please let us know. Feedback emails sent to contact@demiliaaccounting.ie with the subject line Site feedback are read and considered when we plan content updates.
